Car Safety: The True Hard Body

Written on May 14, 2010 – 12:18 am | by admin |

There are many vehicles in the market that masquerade as the true hard body but there are hard bodies that truly live to their billing. The regular hard body is the one that crumples on impact and has barely enough air bags to keep the passengers alive on impact. These are the more common versions of the hard body but there are those that have been tried and tested and come out better than ever.

In the main tests a hard body is put through include being smashed into walls, being put through rain and all weather tests and so on. They may also include being dropped from a 50 foot crane all the way to being burnt and even being part of a building that was demolished by explosives. Even after all these tests the vehicle should roar to life to the satisfaction of a true hard body connoisseur.

The vehicle should be in a position to handle all the things that are thrown at it regardless of the weather, terrain or even the driver’s mishaps along the way. If nothing else this should be a good indicator of how strong this particular machine and what exactly it is capable of.

The regular hard body has the capacity to handle certain amounts of strain but the crane fall would be too much. But a vehicle that manages to limp its way through after the final tests proves to all and sundry that the hard body logo on its side is for real. Now for all those that love these vehicles there are many to choose from in the market and their capabilities are as different as their prices.

These brands include Nissan, Mitsubishi, Isuzu, Toyota, Ford and so on. Hidden within this list is the true hard body but as with all other things in life it is up to the client to test and see which of these is the true product.
